Have fun building one of the many creations in the series "Leonardo's ideas"
A set made up of different elements in birch plywood, will allow you to give life to the revolving crane that Leonardo da Vinci designed to cover the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi.
In 1436 the dome still lacked the lantern on top and Leonardo's crane intervened to position the last blocks of marble.
The crane was equipped with a 360° rotating arm and a screw system that allowed the transversal excursion of the load, while the rotation was by push.
Limited edition for the 600th anniversary of Brunelleschi's Dome and each specimen is numbered with a year from 1420 to 2020.
Faithful to the real drawings and projects of the great Italian genius
