KALAHA - MANCALA

A strategic game inspired by the African mancalas, clearly taking its name from the famous Kalahari desert.

There are numerous variations of the game, but whichever you decide to play you will surely find something for your teeth!

Simple rules and a moderate playing time of 15 to 30 minutes make this game absolutely versatile and never boring.

Like all our wooden toys, the Kalaha is also made with high quality materials from Thailand. In addition, thanks to the resealable lid with a convenient strap, this version of the Mancala is also for travel, so you can take it with you wherever you want.

Each player has 6 holes or ponds (each with 6 balls inside at the start of the game) and a bank, or one of the 2 ellipses on the edges of the field.

The game begins when the first player to move empties one of his ponds, distributing his pawns in the subsequent cavities counterclockwise, understanding his bank and avoiding the opponent's one.

In turn, you proceed in this way, trying to place more balls in your hole and, thanks to the special rules, to be able to make more continuous rounds, leaving the opponent on the bench.
